It order to appoint a graduate student as a GTA/GRA/GA, we use the 3G form linked here.  

The process is initiated by the DEPARTMENT.  The faculty member will contact Graduate Academic Advisor Cicily Riggs ( to get the ball rolling.

​Once the information is supplied by the faculty member to Cicily, she will submit the form to the SSC.

The appropriate point of contact at the SSC (finance or research) will check the funding information for errors.  Once approved, they will forward the form to HR where a PAF will be submitted and onboarding will begin.
